Goals for the Coming Year:

1. Build Stronger Community Engagement & Visibility

Objective: Increase awareness of the chapter and build meaningful connections with local AEC professionals.

Actionable Ideas:

Host monthly “Hard Hat Happy Hours” at job sites, local businesses, or construction-friendly venues to introduce non-members to NAWIC in a casual, social setting.
Participate in local industry events (e.g., CMAA, SMPS, AGC, WTS, or high school career days) with branded booths or speakers to showcase NAWIC’s mission and local impact.
Create an media campaign featuring interviews or spotlights of local members to share on social media, newsletters, and local news outlets.

2. Provide High-Value, Relevant Programming
Objective: Make membership more appealing by offering programs that advance careers and foster community.

Actionable Ideas:

Launch a quarterly “Leadership Lunch Series” with panelists from across trades, engineering, development, and ownership to discuss topics like career advancement, project management, and leadership.
Offer free or discounted CEU-certified workshops on trending topics (e.g., DEI in the field, emerging tech, safety leadership).
Start a Member Match Program that pairs newer members with seasoned professionals for mentorship and engagement in events.

3. Strengthen Sponsorship, Partnerships & Member Value

Objective: Increase funding, visibility, and corporate support while demonstrating the value of membership.

Actionable Ideas:

Create a Local Business Partner Program offering annual sponsorship tiers with perks like job postings, speaker slots, or branded event co-hosting.
Offer “Bring a Colleague Free” passes to select events so members can introduce potential new members or sponsors organically.
Host a “BuildHER Brunch” or fundraising gala to bring industry leaders, sponsors, and elected officials together and highlight the chapter’s accomplishments and members
